The greater central area of Mississippi (South of Highway 8 which traverses the State of Mississippi in an East-West latitude) falls under the Jackson Office for service and benefits-related issues. Exceptions: The counties of Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, George, Stone and Pearl River fall under the jurisdiction of the New Orleans District Office. Persons residing North of Highway 8 fall under the jurisdiction of the Memphis, Tennessee Office. The Jackson office is located at 100 West Capitol Street; Jackson, MS 39269. The Jackson Office’s Application Support Center and Examination Branch is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The Investigations Branch and the Detention and Deportation Branch operates on a non-traditional schedule as necessary. The New Orleans, LA, office is open from 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and is located at 701 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, LA. The Memphis, TN, suboffice is open from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday.
